In th early days of their run, he was a mentor, a driver, a confidante, and a cowriter of some of their songs. As time progressed he was their business manager. He is frequently not thought of enough, if at all, with regard to them. But, I assert without the tutelage, and nurturing of Stig Anderson, they would never have made it to the place of musical prominence that they did. Not to say they wouldn't have succeeded at some level, but it would never have been the same.

Yes Stig Anderson was the 5th member of ABBA and without his drive, determination and vision ABBA probably wouldn't have been as successful as they were. In my humble opinion.

Great pic, i think it was taken during the recording sessions of "Dancing Queen" in august 1975.
