Don't you agree? We need a DVD-compilation of Agnetha's all solo videos in fantastic sound and image quality. I don't expect to get a long interview with Agnetha (like we got with Frida on FRIDA 4xCD 1xDVD). Just all her soloclips on DVD. I just received an interesting fact from Agnetha's nephew Daniel Fältskog on Facebook, he writes:
"Agnetha has been approached to do a retrospective of her career for a 60th birthday TV special in Sweden (DVD for international release). She is undecided as of yet. Daniel xx"
This is one of my favourite videos from 1987. Thanks to ABBAinter.net for the video.

Absolutely...although I guess there are copyright obstacles considering she recorded with several labels through her career which may be what's stopping it ? That being said, it goes without saying that it would be a big success...who do we approach to get such a project off the ground ? Perhaps we should start an online petition...there are thousands of fans who would gladly support such a project and commit to buying it...

Well, I must be honest, I personally don't need such a DVD, just not interested, but I do have a couple of very good friends whom I'd love to give it as a present, so, yes, generally speaking I need it, too :)

For me, it's hard to go from ABBA to almost anything else. This isn't a bad song and, of course, I love Agnetha's voice. But it's not a Benny and Bjorn song. After hearing their stuff, most everything else just sounds kinda ordinary.

I dunno, it seems silly *not* to have a DVD. Frida's DVD is fabulous and we all know there is a wealth of great Agnetha footage out there. She doesn;t even need to promote it or be interviewed (although an interview would be fascinating). I'm not a die-hard Agnetha fan and I'd still buy it.

Yep, Tony, you're right... on second thought, such a DVD is well worth having, so even though I'm not that keen on Agnetha solo I think I'll get it sooner or later (provided it's released, sure)... but anyway it'll always be the question of priority :)

I think it would be nice to have such a DVD compilation with the solo work from Agnetha - however in my opinion NOTHING can top the Frida DVD and Box. It is such a SPECTACULAR item which I love watching even a few years after its release and this is hardly the case....
Some of Agnetha´s work is very well done, I enjoy I Stand Alone most (the album).
In my opinion her old Swedish songs are not very good productions in both lyrics and music and her voice was not very sophisticated either unlike Frida´s old recordings which are timeless. I enjoy listening to them even nowadays.
Anyway, let´s hope that Agnetha will be honoured with something special as well to her 60th birthday in a few months.

Michael Scheiber, There are some vids of it on Youtube and I thoroughly enjoy them. Frida is very much underrated.

I knew that Agnetha had a nephew named Mattias but Daniel? Anyway a dvd of her work would be great especially if she did do some type of interview or commentary would even be better.

An Agnetha DVD would be wonderful. She had such a long and active career: she did even more solo albums than with ABBA, 11 original albums and countless compilations. A DVD is long overdue and it would be great to have an amazing one just as Frida's.
And erm... Agnetha and Frida were both the front of the band!

"she always stood out in Abba as the front of the band, the beauty and the voice. x."
Tina, Don't forget who was the lead in ABBA's best selling single "Fernando" or that both ladies sung lead on their biggest hit "Dancing Queen" as for the rest You need to start using IMO (In my opinion) in your comments. ;)

The thing to keep in mind, is that today, there are more people alive that have never seen them live, than those that have. If we're to help to perpetuate their legacy beyond our lifetimes, we have to have the tools that are available to the individual to decide what they want in their library. It's about exposure, and an Agnetha DVD,CD collection of her back catalong, and her rare solo performances would go a long way towards this.

Properly or not there are a number of Agnetha solo performance videos out on You Tube right now. However, a high-quality DVD retrospective would be interesting, especially if it did include comments (or similar) from the beautiful artist herself. IMO, any quality effort from this talented singer to reach fans, old and new, is a good thing.

Is Daniel Faltskog REALLY Agnetha's nephew. It all seems hilariously suspect to me. On his facebook page there are even pictures of "Mother Mona" and two other Aunts and Grandmother-as we all know they could not possibly be on Agnetha's side since she and Mona are the only siblings. He also lists himself as working for AgnethaFaltsokg Producktions AB. Isn't this company long defunct. Surely if he was a relative of Agnetha's he would not be telling us about sorting out the memorabilia in her beaement for an exhibition? This is more fishy than baltic herring!
