The way they were. It blows my mind to think how time has slipped away on us. When this was going on, in 1973, I was getting the pants scared off of me, by a cousin of mine that pointed a .22 rifle at me when we were out camping. I walked 2 miles through the woods to his house and told my Dad, and my Dad, told his, and we all rode down to the campfire, in his Dad's pickup truck. After his Dad, whipped his butt, he couldn't sit down for the rest of the weekend. I was also, that year in my first year figuring out what girls were for. Those definitely were the Days!

How beautiful is Frida here.
Thomas, You're make this blog cool. I LOVE your stories! :) So, when and what did you decide girls were for?

mikespeir

Well, gee, how beautiful is Agnetha here, too! :)

And, Thomas, be careful with that "what girls were for" stuff. You're walking a mighty fine line there.

Enough

I agree with Mike, this blog is about ABBA only and discussions about anything else can be had elsewhere or privately!

I adore this pic to bits! Always did. Apart from the cutest little thing in the cradle, this photo always attracted me by how well the difference between extroverted/introverted could be explained basing on this pic only :)

Minty Fresh

Enough, that's no for you to say.

Mikespeir, aggy is pretty
but Frida is a supermodel and the haters know it. lol

~kAte

Minty, let's not start it again, ok :) We all know who, what and why, but everybody's entitled to one's own opinion, even that male/female thingie with multiple names lol

As in all things Mike, you have to understand, what I'm channelling is what the mindset of a 13 yearold boy was thinking at the time. What do you expect a kid to be realizing at that age? I'm not talking about me the 40something yearold man, I'm talking about what it was like to be a tween, and teenager at the time. I speak, and have the courage of my convictions. As for "what girls were for, I mean that with respect. Just like "what boys were for." There is no "fineline," there is the possibility of overactive imagination, I'll submit. Many people today are so hypersensitive and want to be offended, or to have an excuse to fight. I don't purpose to give that cause to anyone. I've said before, if this blog will be more than it is now. More people will have to step up. A boy is feeling hormonal, and not understanding all of the other dynamics of humanity. He's into what "He's" feeling, not thinking about what others are thinking. As in things that are in print, context is always our best friend.

Well, somebody's got to stand up for Agnetha! :) I love 'em both!

I guess if I were to break it down, my opinion would be something like the following. Frida has more of what's often called "classic beauty" looks. Agnetha, to me, is just pretty in the extreme. I, personally, am more drawn to the prettiness. (Although, frankly, I prefer brunettes.)

I understand, Thomas. I was just messing with you. I used to be a 13-year-old boy. In fact, I was a 13-year-old boy for about 30 years! :) (Or is that 41 years?)

Monica

Great photo of Agnetha, Frida and Linda.

Mikael

Daniel Fältskog wrote on my Facebook page that Linda still has the blanket she so peacefully is sleeping under in this picture.

Monica

Mikael is Daniel Faltskog Mona's son? That is cool that she still has that blanket.

Mikael

Monica,
Yes Daniel is Mona's son. :)

Monica

Thanks Micke I knew about the one son but not Daniel. So he is using Faltskog to get further along in what his music career?

This picture is great and I'm glad to have come across it. Memories of days gone by.
