What I like about this pic is that when they were done performing they were just plain folks. I mean that I would have no problem sitting down and having a cup of coffee with them, talking about whatever they wanted to talk about, and going my way. I think that it goes back to having respect for another human being, and just like I said in a op. ed. I put on a ABBAphile group on FaceBook, I've got a full plate, and they are a part of my life; but I live and take care of my affairs and continue to look to them for inspiration.

They actually *are* working here though! It's taken during a French interview in Paris, October 1980 as part of the Super Trouper promotion.
Great pensive pic, thanks Micke!

Thank you for the clarification Greg, I meant from intitial impressions of body language that I've observed from the thousands of photos I've observed of them as a couple. They weren't uptight. The sort of people you could talk to. That was my point, not what they were doing in this pic. I am remiss when I'm not completely "breaking it down," for what isn't said in many of my comments are more by what is implied. I'm not always talking to the subject of the photo. I'm speaking about a topic that is created by the subject, for the benefit of a deeper discussion. I'll illustrate my point, a little further because I genuinely care about being understood, and not written off as having just given someone, that in this case being you, Sir, a "flip" answer. Bruce Springsteen, was recently the subject of a weekend symposium, that was hosted by the University of Pennsylvania, in New Jersey. I'm not sure of the exact location. You can Google it. It was to do with several seminars and workshops about his music, his social consciousness, his works inspiring the sense of duty, and deeper meaning for millions of people around the World. It was a continuation of another symposium held in 2005 for the same reason. I am of this sort. I look for the deeper meanings, in the content on this blog, and don't mean for my observations to be misconstrued, as shallow "sounding off." They were doing an interview. Thank you again for the background, Greg.

Sadly, but they are not a couple anymore on this pic, Thomas. Yes, they're not divorced yet, but as far as I remember what I've read in BLDS, at that time they were heading for it full speed. That is: Benny already had an affair with Mona and Frida knew about it (which she did from the very start, to be honest).
In 1982 Frida confirmed that for some time they had to continue their relationship, pretending everything's fine so that not to damage the image of the group. And it made the situation even more complicated for both of them. Luckily, both Frida and Benny were wise enough to talk it all over and to forgive each other all hard feelings. That's why they managed to stay good friends even after the divorce.

Frida handled the situation in a very classy way. :)
