OMG, Finally I see a picture of Frida’s first wedding, thank you so much *-* I thought I'd never see a picture of her wedding with Ragnar, now what I’d like to see is a picture of Frida pregnant, but I think this is harder, maybe someday. =)

The one of Agnetha makes me sad.

It's me at nothing but I'd like to know why
this marriage did not work before?

What I think of when I view these two pics side by side is not what went wrong, so much as what was missing in the chemistry between each of the partners? In order to see clearly a situation, I think the first thing is not to assign blame. When a person is shallow in their thinking, then, it is apparent they really have no discernment. The thing for me, is that I would like to see both Frida, and Angetha, happily fulfilled in a relationship. Frida was and is reportedly the last that I heard of her. Angetha, seems to have the same, common thread with her relationships that Jennifer Aniston does. I think what men see who've a career that is dependent upon public perception, in entertainment, in this case, where perception is reality, in Jennifer's case they see what has happened and start looking for a way out. In Agnetha's case and defense, I see that she's highly gifted, and I read that was part of the sort of a psyche that she has, so, it and being very sensitive, to people around her, being able to pick up on emotional reactions as well; feedback that allows the person to know quickly, the relationship might go nowhere, could cause alot of issues with finding the "right guy." Unfortunately, all men are human. And when the "honeymoon" is over, you see how we, alot of us, really are. And that "won't make the cut." Also when a woman of her sort of emotional/mental makeup get's bored as easily as that before the relationship can mature, and grow into what it really makes marriage worthwhile in the first place, then it from what I've observed for the most part is a vicious cycle.

Wow Thomas, that is some anlysis! I think we can't say anything about their marriages and why they didn't work (Frida and Ruzzo is an exception of course). Marriage isn't always easy and there are so many difficulties to cope with through the years. People change, life changes or sircumstances and sometimes things don't wotk out the way we've planned.
By the way I don't think Agnetha is highly gifted unless you mean vocally and musically.

"By the way I don't think Agnetha is highly gifted unless you mean vocally and musically."
Isn't that enough, Bonnie?

When looking at both of the photos you can see there is no spark there between both couples not like there was when it was Agnetha and Bjorn and Frida and Benny even though both of those marriages didn't work either there was hope. No hope in the two photo's above though.

The Internet is a wonderful thing. Just for fun I did a search for for the "komminister" (priest) who married Frida and Ragnar. And I found this:
Marcus Winberg, komminister, t.f. kyrkoherde, f 2/2 1909 i Göteborgs Oskar Fredrik, d 7/3 1985 på Östra Storgatan 1, Eskilstuna Kloster. Prästvigd i Luleå 1939, kyrkoadjunkt i Bureå 1942, komminister i Dikanäs 1950, i Västermo 1954, tf kyrkoherde i Snavlunda 1956, komminister i Eskilstuna Fors 1962 och fram till pensionering.

Thomas Wilson, I like your thoughts. But you really do you think men are human beings? :o)

Spark or not, I don't think we can draw any parallels between a teenage girl of 18 and a grown-up lady of 40. Though, yes, some things, especially as complicated as marriages, have tendency to fall apart when something's lacking such as, say, communication between the two.
As for men being non-humans, as far as I know they're pretty much human flesh and human blood, and it has never been otherwise in my world ;o)

Oh and I forgot to comment on the priest info! *oops*
Micke, if I get things right, Marcus Winberg has already been retired when he married Frida and Ragnar?
