The Sun in the UK claims that negotations are on the way to make ABBA reunite to do the planned Michael Jackson Concerts.
From the Sun.co.uk:
POP legends ABBA are being primed to see if they will take on the record-breaking run of shows planned for Michael Jackson.
AEG Live, the team behind the King of Pop's planned 50-night residency are trying to tempt the Mamma Mia band out of retirement with mega-bucks deals.
Jacko was due to kick off his This Is It string of shows at the London 02 on July 13.
AEG Live now face a multi-million pound black hole if they cannot fill the slots.
The firm's chief David Campbell said: "There's a little foursome out in Sweden we keep talking to."
ABBA stormed onto the world stage in 1973, winning the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo.
Benny Andersson, 62, Bjorn Ulvaeus, 64, Agnetha Faltskog, 59 and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 63, pumped out hits including Super Trouper, Fernando and Dancing Queen.
But personal tensions saw them split in 1983.
A source said of the ABBA offer: "There are millions on the table.
"But there are many hurdles to overcome."
ABBA's spokes woman Görel Hanser denies it completely.

Ah, tabloids! Don't you love them?
I'd like to see ABBA get up on stage one more time, just to sing, maybe, "The Way Old Friends Do," or some such thing. By and large, though, I agree with the four of them: ABBA's gone--let the legend live!

This is the biggest ABBA-related nonsense I've read in my two years of fandom XD
But I admire those guys from The Sun... They can make absolutely everything out of virtually nothing! That requires some skill, hehe :)

They won't do it so get over it! It would be nice to hear them but part of the mystery is the fact they won't reunite!!

It isn't about the money. If you were in your sixties, were a millionaire, a hundred times over. Didn't care about performing. And definitely didn't want to attach your name recognition to a deceased pedophiles, by finishing his entertainment obligations. What would you gain by coming out of retirement for any reason, but, your own. Bjorn said it best " We don't want to be a parody, of what we were back then. We want to be remebered as we were." Personally I completely fine with where they are now, today.
