This doesn't make much sense. In the first place, Frida didn't turn 40 in December of any year, much less 1983. (She was 40 in November of 1985.) Second, I'm pretty sure the mystery man is Ruzzo, whom, I think, she buddied up with in 1986.

Kate

Nope, not in 1986 in any way. In 1984 Frida and Ruzzo showed up at a party and Ruzzo was dressed in a green punk wig. So it's either 1984 (which is written in BLDS) or as early as 1982 (which is what I personally think).

But well, the best way to find out the truth is to ask Frida herself ;)

"40 years old in December, attractive and successfull is the description of Frida's new man."
40 in December refers to "the new man", not Frida.

mikespeir

Well, for goodness sakes! You're right, Mikory. Plain as day. I'm only 53, but there's still time to learn to read.

But...but I thought Ruzzo was like five years younger than Frida. How does that work?

Kate

Probably they mean Bertil Hjert who is often mentioned as Frida's boyfriend in the early 80s (something I really can't believe). As for the prince, yes, Ruzzo is not only five years younger, but he was born in May, not December.

"Frida - who is becoming more Garboesque"

Where have I heard that before?! Seems the media love making Agnetha and Frida, less so nowadays, sound garboesque!

I could never understand that if they have nothing to promote then why should they be in/under the spotlight?

As in the words to "I am the City" -

'(You) let me be'

Is that the man that recently died
