STOCKHOLM. The King and the Pop-king are almost as rich. Stikkan has 26 millions at the bank. King Carl-Gustaf
has a little more, 27 million crowns. It was a long time ago when the kings were so rich that they could give away half the kingdom to the best prince. Sweden's King Carl XIV Gustaf has 27,9 milllion crowns in the bank. The schlager-and popking Stikkan Anderson has got almost as most 26,9 million crowns. But when it comes to earings Stikkan is ahead. Last year he earned 3,8 million crowns. Last year he earned 3,9 million crowns. The Royal king made a merely 6.777.000. From zero to 26 million The difference between The King and Stikkan is monumental. In the olden days you used to make money from owning land and wood, to create investments or industries. Nowadays it's property, stockmarkets and comsumer goods. If you want to get money fast. Just 10 years ago Stikkan Anderson was a songwriting teacher. Last year he had didn't have a crown to his name Today it's 26 million crowns. Carl XIV Gustaf belongs to a long line of royalty and has always had a good sum of money in the bank. Stikkan's incomes are basically his wages, is stockmarket winnings, and STIM-pengar. The King earns more from his stock that S-E-Bnnken handles for him, tours of the sumer castle Sollide and the farming at his castle at Stenhammar, which is his persoanl property.

I HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLE EMBARRASSEED
OVER MY PARENTS
Today is Linda Ulvaeus her own star. At the moment she is playing in "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Wolf?"at Lorensbergsteaterna i Gotheburg. But it has affected her to be the most famous daughter of two of the most famous Swedes; Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus. Sometimes the kids at school made fun of her by singing ABBA-songs. - It really hurt my feelings and I and I can tell you if "ordinary" kids have felt ashamed about their parents so have really felt ashamed. Between 13 och 17 she suffered from bulimia and the teen years were very diffcult. - I was a wild child and didn't feel at home anywhere. I ended up i the wrong gangs. I became a part of a gang that was pretty wild.
MOVED TO THE COUNTRY The salvatation came in the fom of a pony, Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson and Linda moved out to the country. Later on she discovered acting. Half way through theathreschool she discovered she was pregrant. - There I was doinb ballet excercises 8 monht pregnant.Still the timing was quite OK.Linda took a break from school and stayed home with Tilda for 3 years and then she was able to continue her education. Tilda's dad is Jens Ekengren "quite an ordinary suit guy who works for Vodafone". Linda used to meet him at the video store at Ekerö and they have been a couple of 11 years now. But Linda remembers the first meeting with his "in-laws" as difficult for everyone involved. Today Linda stands with both feet on the ground, and when something's trobuling her she has her on remedy: Driving a tractor is very good therapy. It's a very good way to get rid of the bad feelings.

Giant peace gala in Sweden
Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Bob Dylan. Just three of the world artists that will be expecetd to perform in Gothenburg in August next summer. They will participate in the biggest peace gala that has ever been arranged. John Denver, ABBA, and Liv Ullman are other great names expected in Gothenburg. The Gala will take place three days, from 5-7 August
- We are going to diffderent places, says Agnetha Fältskog. We were two when we started now we are four different people.
- I'm tired of dancing around at 45 years of age, says Benny Andesson who can see the group last a couple of more years,
The reverlation is made in the London newspaper Dalily Mirror today, where ABBA are unsually candid. Daily Miroor med 4.500.000 copies every days sent their repoter Alan Markfield to Stockholm to do up-close-and-personal interview wtih the ABBA-members.
SWEDENS MOST SUCCDSFULL BUINESS Mark Frield notices that ABBA is Sweden's most successfull business, with larger business than Volvo - and they still are te´he the poularst pop-group. Yet ABBA break every rule of ths business, they don't tour, they don't bash up hotelrooms, none of them have arrested for drugpossion. What went wong?
Agnetha Fältskog tells us about the divoce from Björn.
- I was terrified of making it on my own. Since we were very young Björn had taken care of me. Now I was alone to fend for my self.
- And when Björn met Lena I also felt sometihing. When he married her it hurt. And it felt so strange that he could find soemeone like me so quickly.
- Agnetha says that she has many fobias and that she is a very nervous person,
- I can't go out shopping or visit a restaurant. I don't go out when people are looking at me. The fear of going out is my worst fobia. I stay home instead with my children. Alone. I read a lot and compose songs. I compose a lot and one day I hope I will release a record.
- Natuarally I met men, but I don't have a boyfriend. Swedish magazines come up with very strange stories. So I know that people don' belive me, but I am Alone.
- I don't think Iäm very goodlooking or sexy. In that area I have no selfconfidence at all. On the other hand I think I'm smart.
- Men seems to be scared of my intelligens. Men seem to be intimated that I'm smart. That I have made a huge career seems to scare some men off, but I can't understand why,
Carreer is important for Agnetha. To be a goood mother to ther two children she says she will need a career. When ABBA is over she wants to try to act in films,
- I would love to be a filmstar. I hope some producer will make me an offer.
Björn makes this analysis of the divorce from Agetha Fältskog:
- When I tried to talk honestly as I did with Agnetha and hoestly try to comuniate and honestly and try to communiate and honeslty try to and it doesn't help. But it was a slow process, we went through 2 years,
- First we met with a pshyciatrist and he got os to discuss our real problem. Efter these 2 years of discussing our problem. At the end we were conviced we would get through it, There was not tenison, ut we have been togheter fro 13 years!
Daily Mirrror quotes a "close frind" who claims Björn was ipossible to do with,
- He found mistakes in everthing Agnetha did - and it wasn't the case. He became more and more jeaolous of Agnetha even though he had no reason.
Björn sees his kids almost every days. When he moved out of the house he started a batchelerhood that only lasted a week.
- I met Lena almost straigh away. Now we are exepecting a child. I don't really care what sex it is as long as the baby and Lena feels OK.
STOCKHOLM, TT - We had a weak suspision when we we sent the tape off that it was not going to be aired. We didn't just talk about thte Polish people but we also mentioned the people of El Salvador, Chile, Iran and Afganhistan. That makde it just a little difficult so it wasn'd deemed suitable for the show.
That says the ABBA-member Björn Ulvaues to TT i n a comment to the fac that the segment with ABBA was never shown on the American TV-show "Let Poland be Poland", which was aired throughout the world on Sunday night.
SPEECH TO THE WiEVERS ABBA had done a videorecording in which they sang the three songs from the lastest LP. But before the music started Björn Ulvaues and Benny Andersson about a minute long message for the viewers. The message reads as follows; "- The thought goes out to Poland tongith of couse. Meeting are being held over all the world for support of the Polish people. But I also think that we should give a thought to remind other states where artists, muscicsicans as ourselves not can express their feelings openly. For example, El Salvador, Chile, Iran and Afganhistan. We take human rights for granted. But there are so many places around us of how they can be crushed over night. I wish this show will contribute to remind us of hos fragile human rights are.
RUSSIAN CRITIC ABBA have also been criticized a contry where are are VERY popular, and for exaple the Movie is showing at the theaters tehre now. The official Sovjet magaizine Trud writes about therír critiscism against the American TV-show:
- It's not hard to believe that Roland Reagan and his foreign minister Alexander Haig makes them available at a show like this. But however, we think it's depolarble to order ABBA from the NATO-goverments to be taken advantage of.
HYPOCRAZY
The Plolish Radio called the USA's Poland program on Sunday for hypocrazy for a propaganda against communism.
- The show was a commcercail from American freedom
- with at least 60.000 kr per person. GAMLEBY (Exprssen) Cirkus ABBA has packed down their gear with a profit of 60.000 kr each. After 21 days touring at 14 places in the country they sayd goodbye from Gamleby, About 100.000 people have seen ABBA from Skellefteå to Gamleby. Last night it was approximately 4.000. 30 percent of the audience were children under the age of 7 and they were admitted for free. In some folkparks there were seasonstickets, old age pensioners disabled etc. 500.000 kronor was what ABBA earened during their short tour. But with the whole circus company , 24 persons and a l8.000 wheler every koncert costed 18.000, Together that came to 250.000 kr. The rest more than half is split between then fyra members Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus; 60.000 each. Arranger got 40 procent of the income. 14 different arrangers had to split 350.000 kronor. Now the four split up. Björn Ulvaus: We are going out to our cottage in the archipelago. We all live there, and so does Stikkan Anderson, but thank God we live far away from each other, so we don't have to run in to each other every day. Eventually the summer holiday will be cut short with a trip to England, ABBA's lastest "I do" is climbing the charts and if the success becomes "too big" we will have to take ta trip there.
This letter is written with the intent of my accussations to the Pressombudsman by some of the articles i the tabloid magazines, because of my recent move to London.
I want to complain the same way Agnetha Fältskog has protested against the lying stalking I have been the subject of from Svensk Damtidningm , Husmodern och Dameras värld. Innocent people are you like weapons on the behalf of selling more issues of the magazines. In this case I can explain tha forethemost Phil Collins, my collegaue - a professional and serious musician and performer who has named for the reason for my moving from Sweden.
I'm vey uspet on his behalf and his girlfriends. Besides it hurts all these "rumours" my private life -and the people who are close to me. I'm suffering from being portrayed as an unserious woman who seem to go from on relationship to another. Besides I feel a comptemt journalists need to defend something I have never ever to do with anyonelse. I also feel a great tiredness to be have asked questions by imcompent answers I have do not ove them at all. But I will never give up the fight infront of incopentent journalist when there are none of their business. But I will never give up the fight against the ruthless which I hold most sacred: peoples repect and integrity.
Last year the popgroup ABBA celebratretad their 10 th years. They wanted to to some extra an entertainment show with both singing and talking. The result was "Dick Cavett meets ABBA". Earlier this spring the 55 minues show was recorded. Since then SVT has editeted and were readly to air the show. Dick Cavett is one of the highest paid and famous program host and he he is paid SEK 5000 000 per show. The idéa to have him has the host was ABBA:s themselves. - We thought long and hard and wanted to find someone who could make our 10th anniversary a memorable one, Björn Ulvaeus said. We wanted someone who was fun and. And the thoght came up "Dick Cavett". He is is very skilled and humours. We wanted a mix of singing and interviews.
DOUBLE GAGE From the beginning it was decided that the show should be made in Germany, but instead it was Swedish Television who got the honors. It is an expensive show, Dick Clark wanted a dobule gage to do it. It sure it worse it says Ingemar Leijonborg who is the executive chief of Swedish Television, We made a show with both ABBA and Dick Cavett which witll easy to sell to the international maret. Both Japan and USA are interested.
THREE NEW SONGS At the end of April ABBA started to rehearse the show. Björn and Benny have written three new songs which has to be rehearsed. ABBA sings a total of six songs live in the studio and they are using the same musicians who went on tour with the. There will also filmclips with a pair of extra ABBA-songs made by Lasse Hallström who usually do their commercailly music clips. The songs "Super Trouper", "On and On and On",together with the newly written "When All Is Said And Done", "Two For The Price Of One" and "Slipping Throgh My Fingers, will all appear on the new ABBA album, the 10th. HAPPY BANTER TV recorded two interviews with Dick Clark and ABBA for later put them together between the takes. The audience in the studio was mostly Engslish spealing. It wa a demand from Dick Cavett that they audience would understand Englsih. A happy conversation more than an interview says Björn Ulvaeus. "Dick Cavett meets ABBA2" will be shown in the Scandinavian contriues simaltaneoly.

PREFERES TO LIVE IN SWEDEN
Frida prefers to live in Sweden. The Swedes leave their celebrities alone.
- People don't care about us. I can go out shopping in Stockholm without getting mobbed in the street or in a store. People recognise me but they don't make a big deal out of it.
She has never contemplated moving to the UK or the USA for taxresaons.
The tax is not a big problem - we have invested very wisely. People talk so much about the stress we are under. But there's no problem to stay "ordinary".
ABBA NOTHING FOR THE CHILDEN
- We have all children and family lives and it keeeps you grounded. Frida adds that she she spent a lot of time with her 15-year old and 19-year old son.
- Both my children are interested in music but none of the are particualarly ABBA-Fans. My daughter likes all kind of music and my son likes hardrock, says Frida who is very proud of her soloalbum.
- When you have been so long in a group it's nervvrecking to do someting on your own. But I'm 100% behind what I have done. I really love my love album. I really like every song says Frida to the British journalist Michael Cable.
