The picture of Frida from yesterday that I said was from the Polar Music banquet was not taken from that party. I was misinformed. The picture is from the Amaranter order's ball on 22 April of 2006 when Frida was elected "Stormästarinna" of the year. Thanks to Carina for alerting me! Here's the picture and another one Carina kindly sent me.
According to TV4 News Björn will pay the SEK 87 million the Swedish tax office claims he has to pay. Björn says that he is not paying because he thinks it's right or fair, he is only making this payment "as a nice gesture".
I wish I could afford a nice gesture like that...

Frida once again attended the Polar Music Prize ceremony this year, today in Stockholm. Looking stylish in black she arrived with Dan Daniell and Heinz Julen. This year's winners were legendary rock band Led Zeppelin and Russian conducter Valery Gergiev.
Jon Lord was on stage presenting the award to Led Zeppelin.

A little while ago I got the new release of ABBA Greatest Hits on CD. It brought back some good memories. I was ten years old in 1975 and I got this album for Christmas.
I liked the bizarre cover and I still remember 
how I was a little "shocked" when I saw Benny and Frida kissing on the inside of the cover (as I said, I was ten!). I stared at this picture for a long time and I thought Björn's boots were really cool. Well, it was 1975...
I also remembered thinking that I thought it was kind of early to release a Greatest Hits album after only two albums (I wasn't, at the time, thinking Ring Ring was a "proper" ABBA-album).
This new CD-release has Fernando on it, which of course my old one hadn't. Song wise I guess this is a "unnecessary" release, but I for one am happy about it. It looks great as a digipak very true to the original artwork. It is nicely done and the disc is black like the old good old vinyl! What more could you ask for?
Just after we have 'recovered' from the new pics of Frida at the Swedish king's 60th birthday party there are some new pics of Agnetha out dancing. I'm not sure, but the guy looks like the same one she danced with in December 2005, on this occasion.

For the first time Agnetha reveals her new love. The world famous star were partying at the popular restaurant Plaza Club on Friday morning and was not shy to cuddle with her boyfriend on the dance floor.
- The were cuddling and kissing. Agnetha seemed 'head over heels' in love, an witness testifies.
